Fast, Reliable Property Recovery Solutions
Water Damage throws everything off, and we understand that. Our Korean-speaking Water Damage Restoration services in Eagle Rock are built to move quickly and go after the trouble right where it starts, whether that’s runoff coming through a foundation wall after a storm or a slow leak that’s been feeding mold under a bathroom floor.
Whether it’s water getting in, mold taking hold, or something structural giving way, whatever you’re up against, we look it over closely and lay out a straightforward recovery plan. On a slope, we also look at why the water went where it went, because drying a room without fixing the path the water took just means doing it again next winter. The aim is a home that’s back in shape without a drawn-out process and without the lingering risks that follow water damage.
Our experienced crew keeps a close eye on every phase, from the first inspection and containment through the repairs and the finished restoration. You’ll know what’s happening, and you’ll get results that hold up.

Frequently Asked Questions
What areas do you serve?
MT Improvement serves Eagle Rock and the rest of Northeast Los Angeles, including Highland Park, Glassell Park, Mount Washington, and Glendale, along with the greater Los Angeles area, Orange County, and the San Fernando Valley.
Do you work with Korean-speaking homeowners?
Yes. If Korean is easier for you, that’s how we’ll handle it. Everyone on the MT Improvement crew speaks Korean.
Can I stay in my home during the Water Damage Restoration process?
Usually you can, though it depends on how bad the damage is and which parts of the house it reaches. If it’s confined to one room or section, staying home while we work is generally fine. For heavier water intrusion, mold, or structural repairs, we’ll walk you through the details beforehand so you can plan around it.
How long will the whole project take?
That depends on how much damage there is. A mold issue might wrap up in a few days. Structural repairs or major water damage can take a few weeks or more.
Because we do restoration and construction in-house, we go straight from mitigation into rebuilding when that’s needed, without calling in a separate contractor. That tends to shorten the overall timeline. After we’ve assessed things, you’ll get a clear estimate and a project plan.
Are you licensed and insured in California/LA County?
Yes. MT Improvement is a fully licensed and insured restoration company serving the greater Los Angeles area. Residential and commercial properties both. We hold to California building and safety standards through every stage of the restoration and rebuild.
Do you handle storm and wind damage, like after Santa Ana wind events?
We do. Santa Ana winds can leave behind serious roof damage, water intrusion, and structural stress that doesn’t always show itself right away, and hillside homes in Eagle Rock catch more of that wind than most.
How do I know if I have a mold problem vs. just mildew?
Not the same thing. Mildew sits on the surface, a thin, powdery film you can generally wipe off tile or windowsills. Mold is a bigger concern. It looks fuzzy or slimy, it can be black, green, or white, and it likes damp, hidden spots such as behind drywall, under flooring, or in a below-grade room where you can’t see it. If a musty smell keeps hanging around, spots keep returning after you clean, or you’ve had water come in before, it’s worth getting a professional to take a look.
How long does the drying process take after water damage?
Drying is typically a 3 to 5 day job. How long depends on how much water was involved and which materials soaked it up. We start with a full extraction of standing water, then set up industrial air movers and dehumidifiers to pull moisture out of walls, flooring, and structural materials until they’re actually dry. On hillside homes we also check crawl spaces and lower rooms where water tends to collect. Getting the drying right the first time is what keeps mold from turning up later.
